Pics from Nov-Dec 2016 Divi AI

Here are some pictures of the beach erosion at Divi AI, these pics are mostly in front of Vista 1-2 bldgs. and one closer to buffet restaurant. Good news is that by the end of our 2 weeks there was quite a bit more beach near vista bldgs. Dredging was ongoing depending on how rough the seas were, during calmer days the dredging would continue. At first whatever headway that was made was erased next morning but as weeks went on improvement was being made happy to say.

Amazing photos. I can't get over how much of the beach was lost!

Yes it is going to take quite a while I am guessing. Pretty interesting watching the dredging progress and the main in charge is very nice, one of the guys lounging next to be was asking him a ton of questions and the man was very nice in answering them all for him. You know the old saying Don't Fool With Mother Nature!

That is incredible. Our first trip to the Divi 2008 was similar to that but not as bad - yikes. When we returned in March 2009 it was significantly better. Thanks for sharing!
