where to snorkel with sea turtles?

I edited a short video for those who want to know where to snorkel with turtles in Aruba

PS: please be a responsible snorkeler if you snorkel with turtles, don't touch or chase them, observe them from safe distance

    nice video.

in November while at baby beach there was a turtle that kept circling us.
we watched him and followed him, he circled us. he seemed very unafraid of us.
we were not snorkeling, just prancing around in the water like mr and mrs shamu.
after he got bored with us, he went over and interrupted a group of kids that were having a swim lesson.
later, the swim instructor, told us that this particular turtle is a regular, who is pretty bold and loves people.

I have logged close to 200 hours of swimming throughout Aruba’s coastline but I have yet to witness a turtle, perhaps it is the time of year

I believe when resident turtles got used to people they stay calm when snorkelers around (unless some people chase them)
I've snorkeled in a bay in Egypt with really huge ones, they were absolutely aware of us but did not even move, just kept feeding on the seagrass

We were there in September! We saw many at Boca Catalina-Malmok-Arashi and Boca Grandi - but we spent long-long hours in the water maybe that's why or just luck
