I second SrBula's message. The bar at the Bucuti is right on the beach. Happy hour is 5-6 (i think, maybe 4-5) and then again 9-10. Half price on tropical drinks. The French Steakhouse next door is pretty good. After a few hours on the beach you won't feel like leaving anyway. Enjoy.
We arrive on 4/30- Queens Day- can't wait...the first nite- we are usually so exhausted from "traveling"- we either eat at the Aruba Beach Club Restaurant (greet food and prices- or at Manchebo (lite fare)...sit on the beach at nite with sun-set with a glass of wine...and maybe a stroll over to the Alhambra Casino...so that we can be refreshed and ready to Party for two weeks...have fun.....Bono Petite...
There is a dunkin donuts nearby for breakfast. And Subway for lunch. Not much else around for dinner. You can have lunch at the Bucuti's Pirates Nest or dinner. Their food is average. A short taxi ride is Madame Janette's or Hastaria di Vittoria. The latter is a nice Italian restaurant and afterwards you can cross the street to go the Hyatt. Gorgeous grounds and they usually have music at night. It's also cooler at the Hyatt because they have so much open water throughout the grounds.
