It would be a tough decision trying to decide whether to eat earlier and be out on the beach or request a window side table at Windows on Aruba for birthday boy's dinner AND fireworks.

The posted time was 9:00 but they didn't start until 9:30. It was obvious that the Divi entertainment had this information because as we sat wondering when they were going to start we actually heard them count down over the microphone - 5 - 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 - and at that split second the first one was launched.
The only bummer was the next day they didn't come take the old rusty barge away until mid afternoon and it was VERY close to shore. Definitely in swimming distance. But it was great! Boy if that is his birthday - that would be a great way to finish the day! Personally I would prefer to be right there so you can hear them as well. JMO. |
