    4th Of July

    Hello Everyone,

I will be returning to Aruba for my 4th visit. This will be my first time there for the 4th of July. Are there any activies/fireworks going on near Palm Beach?

    Thank you,
    Melissa

We will be there as well - We were on the Island once for the 4th - but flew home that day. We had a nice view of the NYC fireworks from the air as we landed in Newark. We are staying through the 6th this year - so we are wondering the same. I am sure if any / the fireworks will pale in comparison with New Year's Eve.

I know they are having fireworks and we will be able to see them from the Divi Pheonix but was wondering what else was going on. We are leaving june 29th staying until the 7th. Leaving from Philadelphia.

We will also be there during the 4th of July as our timeshare week generally falls during this time frame. It has been different each year. I do know the Divi has them. I have also seen them closer to downtown O'stad. They had them for a couple of year on a barge near the Costa Linda. But that too stoped in the last couple of years. I have never heard of any planned activites, you might want to check with the resort your staying at and see if they offer anything for the 4th.

We enjoyed fireworks on the beach at the Hyatt the past couple of years. Really great display. Suggest you email the concierge at the Hyatt for time and details. Unfortunatley my DW has to take courses this summer and we go a week early this year.... at least we get to go!

I am sure the local newspaper will have details of activities going on the Island that day/week. Super excited Glad to hear the Hyatt does a display. Hubby and I can just walk down or watch right from the Divi Phoenix beach.

I am always there over the 4th and there is always fireworks on the beach somewhere at the high rise area. Its not as good as the New Years fireworks but its good.

I'm excited. I know at the Pure Beach at Divi Phoenix they will be having a burger bash from 11-3pm and then a BBQ buffet. At Pure Ocean they will have a 3 course meal- w/ live entainment. Can't wait...

Hyatt did a big beach bash last year and the Radisson had a theme cookout at Laguna.... seems like these events get more common... and welcome too!
