9 hours in AUA on May 9

Paul and I will be on a cruise with a brief ( ) aruba stop.
Our ship will be in from 1 p to 10 p on May 9.

We will be spending the afternoon on the beach and have yet to make a reservation for dinner.
    Probably someplace downtown.
Somewhere along the line we hope to visit Bully and family as well as our dear friends Kathy and Amy S.

Dear hubby loves cruises. Me not so much.
The pools on board are ice cold (in the 70s) and i am a weinee re: cold water.
I do not do well with crowds, line waiting and rudeness of others.
I will be biting my tongue and practicing relaxation skills.
I will spend most of my onboard hours on the serenity deck with 2 new Stuart Woods' books and Aquaman's book.

9 hours in Aruba is just a tease. A horrible tease.
But, this cruise is a steal (Florida resident discount as well as frequent cruiser discount) ocean view cabin for the 2 of us for a price that we could not pass up.

You always manage to have fun Andrea. Lounging around a pool sounds good right now. Any thoughts on where dinner will be? Maybe meet friends at that Chinese restaurant you like.

I hope you have a fun cruise! I won't go into the water where I can't swim to shore so cruises are out for me, lol. I can't think of a better place to spend a day on a cruise though! Where else do you get to see?

We have a 12 hour stop in Aruba on a cruise in Sept. We'll be spending the day on the beach and then dinner at Barefoot. I know that we'll be sad to leave.

Hi guys....went to Reflections today. It was hot hot hot today. A couple of cold Presidentes and Chardonnays for the better half. Again the food was great...Bobbie had the special....a grilled salmon that was to die for. Me, well being old, staid and boring I went for their cheeseburger . One of the best I have had on the island in 15 years.

we will spend a day in bonaire (where we will be on a snorkel excursion to klein bonaire) and a stop in grand turk where we do not plan to get off the ship.

i dunno jay..........i think you'd love the casino, and the gym and the food. your son would love the kid's club activities on a cruise.

Never been on a cruise and have no intention of it at this point. I can not imagine only a few hours in Aruba - but then again it must be better than no Aruba at all! Have fun Andrea - enjoy the time away
