    Nos Conucu

A bar and restaurant..........and to the best of my knowledge it has been closed. Maybe ~amy~ can let us know. But in times past when it was indeed operational they prepared a mean "goat stew" and on occassion iguana stew. Paul has tried both. I on the other hand tried the goat stew and had keshi yena there. They also had cheap Balashi at maybe a dollar a bottle.
But aside from the good cheap food and beer.......they had barnyard animals walking around. It was a fun atmosphere. My dear husband had a run in with a peacock that was somewhat aggressive towards him The fine dining (not) was at picnic tables covered by a roof and the animals walked wherever they wanted too. Paul was a little unnerved by the giant peacock. I had an encounter with a donkey that was a bit mouthy nipping at me and trying to get me to give him food.
disclosure: i had brought him some carrots when we arrived and he and some bunnies ate them all. He thought i was holding out on him and was quite persistent in his quest for food from my pockets and purse.
It was a great place for kids too. Much animal entertainment!
If one was not a barnyard lover.......one would have not been very happy at Nos Conucu.
