Has anyone flown Air Aruba from the states (phl or EWR) and have any opinions?

I used to work as a flight attendant for Air Aruba really loved the company and people I worked with was like a family to bad government was involved, the reason of its close down was pure political play!!. Now I work for United Airlines based out of Washington DC, I like it here also but its not the same feeling.

Air Aruba went out of business a few years ago,it was bought by Continental

Continental never bought Air Aruba they just added extra flights to Aruba to fill in the void that was left when Air Aruba went under.

i am still waiting for my refund from Air Aruba
when they folded, we were left high and dry.............we had purchased our air tickets by debit card AND there was no way to recover our money.
if we had only purchased using our credit card!!!

air aruba in its heyday was awesome!

We liked Air Aruba once we actually got off the ground. We took it twice from PHL. There was always a delay, but the crew was great.

Aruba Trip Reports

We too were big fans of Air Aruba when they were at their peak. It was a shame they went out of business. Their flight attendents were by far the best flying in the skies then or anytime since.
