Does anyone know any cheap air carriers from Atlanta? My husband and I are going the first week of June and the cheapest I'm seeing is $1069 for 2 on Delta (non-stop). Is this a decent fare?
COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS...OUR TICKETS FOR MAY WERE ALMOST $1400.00 VIA DELTA. IT'S ALMOST LIKE A CRAP SHOOT UNLESS YOU MONITOR THE PRICES DAILY. WE EXCHANGED OUR TICKETS FOR THE CHEAPER FARE BUT HAD TO PAY A SERVICE CHARGE OF $100.00 PER TICKET AND GOT A VOUCHER FOR $50......SO THE BOTTOM LINE IS YOU HAVE A MUCH BETTER DEAL. I GUESS THE LONGER YOU WAIT, THE CHEAPER THE TICKET. IT DOESN'T PAY TO PLAN AHEAD WHEN DEALING WITH THE AIRLINES. I WISH DELTA HAD SOME COMPETITION IN ATLANTA AND THE CRAP SHOOT WOULD STOP. THAT'S MY STORY HOPE IT HELPS BIG TOM
Sharon, check out Clark Howard's web site under travel deals. He said that Aruba is listed for 380.00 round trip 14 day advance purchase by June 14. Might want to talk to travel agent about it. Have fun in Aruba, GO BRAVES!!!!
Sharon,
If you can travel on a weekday the rate is lower ATL to AUA on American airlines Thursday June 1st - June 9th...total with taxes $999.50 travel on the weekend days is usually more
Good Luck
