Does anyone know of a cheaper flight from Ct. The lowest I have found is almost $700.00 I'm leaving here July 10th. Any ideas would be helpful.

I found a good price on Orbitz, but it's for September (out of Boston). The total for two is $828.00. If you play around with Travelocity, Hotwire, etc., I'm sure you'll do better than $700.00 -- that's really high. Delta seems to be offering some good fares as well. TNT Vacations and GWV Travel usually sell airfare only out Boston, Manchester, NH and Hartford, CT. If you catch a sale with one of these, you'll need to add approximately $80. to $85.00 per person for departure taxes. There is also a fuel surcharge that is usually made available a couple of weeks prior to departure. Right now it's $40. to $50. per person.

Usually that time of year you could get your airfare and hotel for a week for $700...Maybe at the Wyndham...a package (hotel/air) is the best way to go.

AA.com has a fare of $430.00 July 10-17... out of Boston only problem is they have been changing flights on people..delays...long layovers..so careful there.Bradley is ALWAYS more expensive to fly out of.

Unfortunately fares may not come down this year as you get nearer to your departure date. Fuel prices are a big reason. I fly out of Bradley every year in Oct and have been able to get $450.00. This year I have not seen it below $606.00. Try Orbitz and sign-up as a member, it is free. They will do a fare check for you daily/hourly. Also check US Airways web site daily. You may find lower fares but will have to be flexible on arrival and departure by one or two days. Good luck!

Sometimes there is a fare decrease for summer bookings on our about Memorial Day wknd.

Buy a package deal and you will most likely get lower air.

This might not make any difference for you this time but next time you might try booking your trip through a travel agent.We all think we can do better ourselves but I priced both airline and hotel on the internet. The travel agent was able to do much better because of a package price in which the airlines and hotels give concessions. Same hotel, room type, airline and flight. Not only was it cheaper but she came up with free breakfast every morning. Can't wait until July to be able to enjoy Aruba again.
