Re: Airfares

I would check Orbitz or similar sites and check. Also, call a travel agent to see if carriers like Funjet or Apple Vacations are running charters. I booked in June for a trip in Feb 2006 (on ATA out of Chicago-Midway) and I got a call last week telling me that the flight was cancelled. You're right... getting to Aruba is getting harder every year. Good luck.

Re: Airfares

Right now airfare from Newark in the beginning of Feb. 2006 is $448.00 That is cheap. Last year it was over $800.00 for the same time. If you go President's week it is a lot and I mean a lot higher.

Re: Airfares

Direct fares from Boston are < $400 on AA
Add $85 of taxes to that, however.

Re: Airfares

I thought AA was only flying 1 way direct out of Boston . Return trip , is to Miami and then to Boston . US Air , flies direct both ways .

Re: Airfares

Try flights-with one,or two stops...that may drop the price a bit. But from Newark-fare is cheaper, than from other city airports.

Re: Airfares

I usually pay around $500rt per person from Chicago but this year the direct United flight never go under $650. We fly as a family of 5 so $3250 is quite high. I luckily found ATA at $493pp but that flight was cancelled and United took the ATA customers so we are now on the United flight.
