My wife and I came back June 2. The casino is open and they are still working on it. I will say that we were there in March for St. Patty's day and there really haven't done much. I am a contractor and I told my wife if I worked like that I would be broke. We always say they work on CPT. Carribian People Time. So I will assume that when we return the begining of Sept there still will be a lot to finish. Enjoy everyone.
In defense of "timing" a lot of the sluggishness on progress is due to waiting for supplies to be shipped in.
Yes that is very true as just about everything is imported
Does anyone know how the construction is going for the Alahambra Casino??? Setar Phone boothis not behind the casino anymore. Is there another one nearby Eagle or on Palm Beach? Thanks so much for all the info. Just love this forum...Countdown is beginning . Can't wait to get back to paradise.33 days .....

Thank you for the info.
Was there last 2 weeks in June. The casino and subway are still open. The casino is still being rebuilt but slots and tables still going strong. . The new non-smoking room was not open yet.
The shopping area is going up. Frames and roofs are being built but did never see too many people working so it looks like a long time before completion. From the back of my CDM unit could watch the few people working.

Work continues at the Alhambra Casino. The parking lot is now larger and more easily accessed. They're also building an entrance portico on the side toward the highway. Not much to look at, but here's a photo anyway:
