Re: All Inclusive ?

I think that the AI is great especially if you like your drinks, I don't drink alot, maybe 2 frozen drinks a day while I was there, but still at what 8.00 or so a drink, it still adds up even for soda...we went to the Marina, waiting for the Screamer boat ride, pulled up there at the bar and got a beer and a soda, gave them a US 10.00 and got back a buck....Hmm...we went on the submarine the next day, went to the Cafe there on the dock that has been there forever, and got the same thing and it was 4.75 US....so it depends on where you go....

I found our package to be very reasonably priced from expedia, with all included, air fare and all inclusive etc....

And you still have the choice to eat out even though you have the AI, there are GREAT rest. on the island and we will still do the AI next year, but we will make it a point to try new rest. outside the TAM...

Enjoy your trip...either way your going to ARUBA....you can't miss....;O)

Re: All Inclusive ?

I got back last month on the 26th from my very first visit to Aruba. I originally wanted to do an all inclusive, but my cousin convinced me not to. Huge mistake! I was really blown away by how expensive it was, and I was limited to what I could do. We stayed at the Manchebo Beach Resort and Spa. It was very nice, laid back, and decent for a non high rise hotel. I personally would not take another vacation without doing all inclusive, high rise hotel or not, I do believe it's worth it. Our resort had 3 restaurants which could be pricey, but if we had done the all inclusive we could of enjoyed more of the other activities the island had to offer.
