Allegro
Does anyone know what the new name of the Allegro will be when they reopen? I heard they sold it.

i believe L'Occidental...not sure of spelling.. its something like that...

The name is not changing and they did not sell. It is Allegro Aruba by Occidental.

What about the beach front area, Allegro, used to maintain, are the huts, open for anyone to used?

was there in april. was told the name will be changing along with the renovations. due to open december, 2005. the woman i spoke with was not allowed to give the new name.

They are listing the hotel as an Occidental Grand hotel. They have upgraded it. It is still on the Occidental web site. I spoke with the General Manager a few weeks ago and was there less than a month ago right before closing. The hotel has not been sold
