Re: american airline change

AA has made some changes to its schedule for the summer months. I am sure if you call they would be happy to change your flights to the nonstops if you are willing to change your days of travel. I am sure they will not charge a change fee either. Just flew home to boston on AA last night. I still think they are the best way to travel to island.

Re: american airline change

Well, I've never been to MIA or JFK, so it'll be interesting to visit new airports. Of course, interesting is the word I'll use now... <grin> Everytime I fly out of Bangor, with the exception of going to Chicago, I go through Boston.

Has anyone else traveled to / thru either JFK in New York or MIA in Miami?

Re: american airline change

Hold your horses about Miami. I ended up through san juan cause american changed my flights twice last year. then in san juan they were late so no connection waiting. got to aruba at 9:30 PM instead of my original choice of 11:30 AM. No more American airlines.

Re: american airline change

I have been going to Aruba for 7+ years now, and have flown each time with American Airlines. There have never been any problems, and we took tne entire family of 15 twice and never had a problem with any bookings, etc. They still get my vote. Going in two weeks again on American Airlines.

Re: american airline change

A/A changed my flight in April. We were to arrive in Aruba at 1:45 PM, now we arrive at 7:15 PM after 5-1/2 hour layover in Miami(unacceptable). Sent an E-mail to A/A Cust Service to complain - haven't heard back from them yet.

Re: american airline change

We have always flown AA- non/stop.never a problem..we are going USAIR this year (and last)..and they have changed our departure time 8 times so far...I can't figure outif we are coming or going?? As long as we get there...we will be happy...57 days and counting...I'd take a "Canoe" as long as we ended up in Aruba

Re: american airline change

Is Miami an easy change over from Aruba? Or is San Juan best?

Re: american airline change

Going April 24-May8 , non-stop out of Boston. We are departing 2 hours earlier and come back 2 hours earlier. Times now, 7 a.m. departure and return to Boston 5:30 p.m. It looks like both flights are pretty well booked. The prices are still mind boogling !!!!! If the cost of a barrel of oil keeps going up, imagine what air prices will be next year ?????
