Anyone rented a Jeep from American Car Rental? I'm going to Aruba in about three weeks and wanted to rent a nice Jeep for three days and American seemed to have the nicest looking jeeps on their website.

While there in February 06 we rented a jeep from them for a day. Their pictures on the website, didn't look like the jeep we rented, but it did the job. It was a little beat up, but didn't expect a new jeep either. We reserved a four seater, no roof...

They are super friendly -- I would recommend them...

I've been seeing some mix feelings with American Car Rental, some have good experiences while others have very bad experiences with them. I guess will go back to Econo Rent a Car, they have always treated us great and great prices, the only thing they don't rent Jeep Grand Cherokee's.
