I didn't know they didn't.
I often wondered why I didn't see any.

i was never able to find an american newspaper before the NH incident.
Other caribbean isloands visited by me also no american papers.
I am pretty certain it is not related to NH..

When we stayed at the Holiday Inn (2005 and prior) one shop in the H.I. would get in a few U.S. newspapers at 5:00 PM They would sell quickly.

HI is the only place I have seen them. They are pricey and often old!
But if you bring your computer or go to an internet cafe most newpapers
have websites if you need your fix.

Thumbs up

Most resorts have a U.S. Network TV station coming in on their cable TV from either Chicago or New York. If I remember right think I watch the Today Morning Show while having my morning coffee.
Also some have CNN so you can get news those ways.

Costa Linda used to get The Miami Herald Internatioal Edition every day - it was $1.00 way back when - they always saved it for me. Don't remember when it stopped but it could have been right after NH.

In regards to newspapers or cable, to me, it doesn't matter if it's American! However, would like to know if there's any newspapers written in English. I prefer British news, because, American news, at least in my opinion, is not news. In fact, I stopped buying American newspapers well over 5 years now. To me, it's too biased, and often things I'm not interested in reading.

I do, however, like MSNBC for Keith Olbermann & Rachel Maddow, BBC news. Are these available?

----- Some might. Need to check where you are staying to see what Networks they pull in on their resort cable system.
