Felicia has been adopted! In photo, she is leaving Aruba today with her new family heading for the US. It was love at first sight!
Thank you to the Suraci family for giving Felicia a second chance!

Ok, I have to take credit for this one!!! They were sitting by our food stand and there was a dog walking around. She asked me if it was someones...I told her probably not. She wanted to take it home but thought it would be hard to do that. We talked for a little bit and I gave her Kathy and Stella's info on ARF with phone numbers. They came by told me they were going to look at a dog. It wasn't a pup but 1 years old. Then they came by the day they were leaving and told me they took her! I gave her my email address to send me pictures... Love a happy ending..they were a great family!

    Hi Leslie,

Yes, the family told me that they got our information from you. I sent you a pm last week to let you know they had adopted Felicia.
When they called they were interested in a pup, but I told them about Felicia, picked them, brought them to the clinic and they fell in love. Great news for Felicia. She is a very sweet dog.
Hope to see you this week.

    Thank you!
    Kathy

I didn't get the PM...? A lot of people don't know how easy it can be to take a dog or cat back to the states! I think if more people knew more might be adopted.
One women came by today that was here when you had one of the pups posted at our stand and was so happy to hear it had been adopted. She also took a flier that you left with us...

I keep trying to get the word out!
    See you soon

This is Gumby. His brothers and sisters are about 6 to 7 weeks old. They have all received their first puppy vaccination and are looking for their forever homes. Anyone who would like to adopt one of these cuties, please contact ARF-Aruba and info@arf-aruba.com or private message forum member SUGAR.

I have some time off at the end of the month and can help bring one or two back to the east coast if it will help find a home for them.

    Chadd,

Thanks for the offer. I will be in touch. I am hoping to have the pups adopted by the end of the month, but so far there is only one adopted. There are 2 going to fosters this week.
This leaves us 9 to go.

Harpo is the light colored pup looking for a home! (currently in residence at vet's kennel)

Stormy, pictured in Kathy's kitchen is looking for a home. (I have met this pup and he is a wonderful sweetypie)

Gia, in her travel crate, has been adopted and is now in the USA.

Kathy/Sugar, built her home in Aruba for a winter residence.
She had ambitions to be semi retired snowbird there.
Well, Kathy got involved with the animals, her snowbird and lounging on the beach dream were put on the back shelf.
She is now there full time and pours her heart and soul into helping the animals.
If you are living/visiting on Aruba the ARF-ARUBA organization and its wonderful helpers can always use your help. It is not only financial help that they need,.....if you had the time and the ambition to help in other ways, that would be so very much welcomed.
