I totally understand. It took me a while to get into it and then i couldn't put it down. I'm now reading the 2nd book-Girl Who Played With Fire- and it is really slow, but a really interesting story. I love to read any of Lee Child's books (Jack Reacher series) on the beach as they are action packed with enough of a story to hook me but wife wife tells me they really "guy books"

For anyone from the Northeast, New York in particular, and interested in historical fiction, I just finished "New York" by Edward Rutherfurd. I highly recommend it. A good combination of history from the beginning to present, weaving in members of one family over many many generations and those they meet and whose lives they become intertwined with.

I'm a James Patterson fan too, Andrea. His books are both great beach books and late night reads.

I have been reading Harlan Coben's books lately. I enjoy his books. I also read Pattersons 8th confessions and 9th judgment , Alex Cross trial and just finished 61 hours by Jack reacher. We used to pack books for our trips to Aruba but now we have Kindle's that we enjoy.
