Any casino's lovers???

HI guys,

Love Aruba beach, sun, water sports and pool all day long but at night after dinner my husband and I love to play blackjack. Any recommendations? My husband also likes to play craps.

Thanks

Every night while in Aruba you can find me at one of the Casino's. My favorites are Marriott Stellaris and the Crystal Casino. These 2 are the biggest.

Ironically, my husband and I could live without the casinos. We don't mind that they're there, but we don't really frequent them. We may take a quick walk through to see what's going on, but that's it.

Are there any other people who go to Aruba regularly and don't hit the casinos? I have a feeling we're probably the oddballs

No, you are not the only one. In my single days I spent "some" time at the roulette wheels, but dh doesn't "believe" in gambling. Not religion or anything, just thinks it is throwing away money. That's fine I live just fine without it and he sacrifices for me so it's all even in the end.

Admittedly, I will blow $20 now and then on a cruise because the tables are usually still affordable for my "high" stakes wagering. NOT!

Love the Aruba casinos

As you can see from my name, I not only love the casinos, I collect their chips, and some playing cards, dice, players cards, some metal tokens and would love some matchbooks, postcards... Lol. There have been more than 30 different casinos at 11 locations in Aruba, starting with the Aruba Caribbean. I love the history of the casinos in Aruba. I have many chips, but always looking for more. I prefer playing poker in casinos because I can have an edge, depending on the competition, unlike most table games. I do, however, really enjoy craps and blackjack on occasion. The casinos in Aruba have been very good to me thus far, especially the Excelsior.

I would love to hear about the new Riu casino. In fact, does anyone even know if it is open? I heard it was when they first opened in July, but no idea if it's still open (perhaps a sneak peek before the full hotel opening?). I would love to get some chips from there. If anyone is willing to go there and sell me a few chips, please pm me.

Any casino pictures

Forgot to mention. I am also looking for photos of Aruba casinos. If you have any, especially of closed casinos (or casinos that have changed their names), I would love to see them (and copy them to my computer if you will allow). I have pictures of some casinos, some signs. Always looking for more.

I PM'd or e-mailed you (not sure which) last week asking if you wanted me to pick up any chips for you when I'm there.

Are you looking for photos along the lines of below:
http://www.arubabound.com/photos/htl/rad/lobby_casinoentrance.jpg
http://www.arubabound.com/photos/htl/rad/lobby_casinoentrancea.jpg
http://www.arubabound.com/photos/htl/rad/casino.jpg

If so, you have my permission to copy them. Now the original...if you need that email me and I will "attempt" to locate it amongst the zillion photos on my computers. Not saying they are not there, may just take some time to find.

Fantastic! Thank you very much. No need to send the original. I appreciate it!

Yes, and I thought I responded (I will send another reply). I do need a few chips (not much), and, as you know, no obligation. I will send you another message. Thanks Liz, as always!
