Best Casino

The bad news is....we just got back late last night from our very first trip to Aruba. What an absolute incredable time! The good news is we hit $5000 on a 1 dollar Slot machine at The Hyatt! They paid all cash, let us take pictures, and never asked for a social security number! They only ask for your name, and where you are staying. NO TAXES...WOOHOO!

We went to most every casino we could find, and by far, the Hyatt was more "Vegas like" than any casino we went to.

woohoo is right
set aside half of that $$ and plan your next trip to aruba with those proceeds

we saw someone hit for $5000 on a slot machine at the marriott 2x in a row 3 weeks ago. i was dumbfounded.
the woman was killing time while her husband was playing poker and she threw $10 in a $1 machine. on the first press she hit $5000. after she collected her winnings, she still had $7 or $8 out of her original $10. so she played it and won an additional $5K.

i left happy for her, disgusted for paul and myself...............so we drowned our sorrows at ben and jerrys and ended up watching tv for the night.

How was the Cool Casino at the Riu? Did you bring back any chips, playing cards, dice, matchbooks, etc? Any extras that you would be willing to sell (only looking for a couple, but you might have them)?

Casino's

Stellaris Casino at Marriott in our opinion tops them all!

Well, if I had a win like that at the Hyatt, I would certainly move their casino into my number one favorite category. Way to go!!!

As long as I'm making casino deposits more often than withdrawls, I have to go with Marriott's Stellaris as my best of the best in Aruba.

Slot Machines in Casinos?

Quick question regarding the casinos… are there slot machines and what are the denominations? Are there the 1 and 2 penny slots?

yep

They have slots at every casino I can think of. There is a range of denominations. I'm not sure which casinos have which denominations.

Yes - some of the machines actually let you choose the denomination, which I love! You'll see a button displaying right on the screen to do that.

Way to go on the person who won $5,000!!!! I don't play $1 slots, so chances are I wouldn't win that much. I won $1,000 a few months ago on a 5 cent machine at Mohegan though.

We love the Hyatt and Marriott casinos the best.

Without a Doubt

I have been to Aruba only once, but my wife and I love to visit Casino's and without a doubt the best one is the Hyatt. It is not as smokey and I like the atmosphere.
