I might need to change my time shares for April. Can anyone tell me about the: Flies, wheather, crowded, rainy. I normally go in July and there are hardly any flies, minor rain and not crowded. Please help.

Only weather problem I ever encountered was WIND. Some days in April, you had to stay at the pool because the sand on the beach blew into your face and everywhere else. It doesn't happen all the time though. It's a crapshoot.

Re: April in Aruba, please share

I just got back from Aruba on Saturday. We were going to stay 3 extra days, but the weather was so hot and humid we came home to this beautiful weather we're having here at the Jersey shore. We usually go to Aruba for 6-8 weeks in Jan Feb and it is beautiful. Last week 4/14-21 was awful. The hotest, most humid days I've every spent on the island and the flies were unbearable. I have been to Aruba, in Nov., July, Feb, Jan. Mar and never saw weather like what I had last week. If that's a typical April, I'd give it some more thought.

Just returned. We were there from April 14th till the 21st. Go this time every year. Weather couldn't have been better. It was 89 degrees every single day, no rain, no bugs, etc. I have never had a problem in all the years I have been going in the month of April. I swear by it. Go and have fun.

I just returned on Friday 4/20. The weather was great but the flies were biting and annoying. Just bring something for the bugs. The water is cooler than July.Everthing else was fine.

Re: April in Aruba, please share

I don't know where these people were staying but we had rain two day, although very briefly. Sat. about an hour and a half at 11-12 really poured.Sunday morning about a half hour or so not to much.
I was told by locals that it hadn't rained since Jan. There wasn't hardly any wind for four days Wed.-Sat. The wind picked up Sun. and Mod. it blew pretty good.
The locals said that it was more humid and hotter that normal due to no wind or very little.
