I would love to see pics of the resort ebaches you are staying at. so I can compare.

I hope not to have murkey waters when we arrive.
How sad for your disappointment. Follow the advice of the above and head to another resort for a day trip

High Rise Area Beaches

We'll be back in 16 days for our 4th visit in one year, and we've never been disappointed. Admittedly, we've only stayed at Marriott Surf Club (no reason to stay anywhere else, in my opinion ) and yes, there are people who've criticized the beach there. However, the sand is white, the water turquoise, and palapa ambiance delightful. There are ways to get around the crowded times, and the treatment by the Marriott staff makes even the most crowded day THERE far preferable to most HERE (NYC "rat race central" checking in, and NYC is the best of the USA by far).

If we ever hit the Mega Millions, you'd have to look no further than Surf Club to find us. Forget Florida! I'm retiring to Palm Beach ARUBA!

14 DAYS AND COUNTING !!!!

Well, you came tothe right place for answers. Give Aruba a chance. I hope you explore the various beaches and check the photos that Arubalisa and others have posted, and, then you will see why we all love Aruba so much.

Enjoy your vacation.

completely untouched photos from Baby Beach.

I've never been to the beach the OP is talking about, but I've never been disappointed in any beach we did visit. Take a ride and check out some other places - you'll fall in love

I am a palm beach person myself. I think eagle beach is beautiful but i prefer the action of the high rise area with the beautiful beaches and beach bars. I do agree that aruba when you arrive at the airport for the first time it does not look like much until you get through downtown. Keep on going!!!

I agree, rent a car and take a drive up to the hotels. We stay at Divi Village and our beach is beautiful. That goes for Eagle as well. The water is always clear...well, except if there is a storm in the Caribbean sometimes the water is choppy and not pristine, but otherwise.....it is calm, you can see the bottom and relax without getting a mouthful of water.
Give the beaches a chance....Aruba is paradise, but it is also what you make it...

Aruba, my home away from home !!
