Is Aruba any good in nov?

I´m planning a trip to Aruba from a wintry(?) Sweden in late November.
Since I have never been there I would like to know about the weather and climate around that time.
Is it alot of sun or is it a "rainy" period?
Also i wonder where the evening activities ie. bars, drinking, dancing - well you know what i mean - take place.
What do you all recommend?

/Henrik

Re: Is Aruba any good in nov?

We went to Aruba during the last week of October 2001. The temperature was in the upper 80 degrees F during the day. The sky was mosyly sunny.

It rained three times.
1. During the night while we slept - no impact.
2. Around 2 PM one after noon, a brief shower, if you could even call it a shower, that lasted about 10 minutes. - no impact as we were swimming at the beach. I got wetter in the ocean than I would have from the shower.
3. One morning which stopped by 11 AM - It was the day we were going to Natural Bridge. It was clea by the time we got there - again, little, most likely no impact.

Weather is weather, it is tought to accurately forecast 100% of the time.

I think you will have very good weather when you go in November.

Enjoy,
Bob

Henrich - we go for two weeks every November and we love it. We meet friends from NY and Scotland and have a great time. The weather is wonderful - sunny and hot, great tropical breeze. We do most of our drinking and dancing at the resort where we stay - but believe me there are many, many.

Re: Is Aruba any good in nov?

Been there twice during november, once for my honeymoon. As others have stated you may get a short afternoon shower or two but they are short lived. It is still generally sunny, breezy and high 80's.

Re: Is Aruba any good in nov?

Aruba is great at anytime.

The only thing we noticed is since it is "off season" the hotel rates are lower and the casinos tend to have less free entertainment.

Any time you go, you will enjoy!!

Re: Is Aruba any good in nov?

Thanks everyone for your replies.
I might be going in october instead - we will see.
I´m thinking about staying at the Tamarijn.

I understand that participating on the partybus is one good alternative if I want to have some fun. Some people suggest just visiting other hotels, pubs and bars downtown is also a good thing to meet people.
Any other suggestions are welcome....
Another thing...is it recommendable to pay for things with cash or creditcards.
Well, as you see, I´m looking for information.
