Has anyone stayed at the Aruba beach club, Are the rooms nice? How about the beach?

We are leaving April 30th for two weeks at the ABC- our 18th stay there. We LOVE it..it's friendly...BEST BEACH (not crowded) and the staff are wonderful. It is a low rise (which we prefer)...new restaurant on the beach and everyone is "Friendly". The rooms are in the process of being renovated..(which they needed)some of the rooms are finished and others are still being worked on. We eat next door at the Divi for breakfast sometimes...you can walk the whole beach...visit the Tam, Divi-Divi and you are next door to Manchebo...which has alot of stuff going on during "Happy Hour"...I'm sure you will LOVE it...we prefer the low rise because you can just walk right onto the beach..no elevators..and all the comforts of home the 9 hole golf course is open..and there is a Casino within walking distance...you can walk next door to the French Steak House for dinner...HAVE FUN...BON BINI

Have stayed there for last five years and I am heading back April 1st.
Great place, the rooms, most of them anyway have all been re done and the beach is great, the help are always friendly and it's one of the many reasons we have purchased a timeshare there!!

If you're fortunate enough to get one of the units that's been redone you will be pleased. The one-bedroom units what's referred to as the high rise building (it's not really a high rise) are completed. Now they're working on the studios starting in the wing that's closest to the Manchebo. If you don't luck out and get one of the redone ones expect no luxury and to think to yourself "good thing they're redoing these rooms". But it'll be kept clean. We stayed in one, if I remember correctly it was #151 (the wing closest to Manchebo) for a few extra days before our weeks at CDM and also we own a studio in the other wing facing the CDM pool at ABC that my son used while we were at CDM and both were in pretty serious need of rehabbing, as was the studio my brother in-law & his wife rented. A few doors away from the one we own was a studio re-done as a model and it looked really nice.
