Aruba Beach Club Beach

Does anyont know if the ARC has beach huts? Do you need to wake up at dawn to get one or does it not get crowded like other beaches?

Many

>>> "Does anyont know if the ARC has beach huts?"
---- Many!!!
>>> "Do you need to wake up at dawn to get one or does it not get crowded like other beaches?"
--- This depends when you are going. Understand Jan throu March they get taken very early. So those months the answer is yes. I am a member next store at CDM. Members/guests of either can use each others huts, chairs, pools, exercise romm, tennis courts, bars, ....... I walk down to the beach for my 2 weeks in June around 9am and have my pick of many front row huts. Can find many empty huts on the beach all day long. Now around the pool they fill up early. Might want to go to the ABC BB and ask that same question with the month you are going.

Re: Aruba Beach Club Beach

I go in February, and the chickies are at a premium. 4 AM seems to be the appointed time to get one of choice. Crazy, huh??? We look around at the towels during the day and there are as many, if not more CDM towels than ABC towels... It's rare if ever to see the reverse since ABC has such a lovely beach.

Well, sounds good I am going the 2nd week in May and don't think I will have a problem. Does anyone know aboupt the renovations going on there? Are things messy or do you not even know they are working on renovations??

Re: Aruba Beach Club Beach

The Renovations are still going on- they are now working on the Super Deluxe Rooms in the front...(up and down) and the guests whose rooms are being worked on- have already received notice that they will be in a different room. Our Rm. 122 was finished three years ago and we "love it"...the club was in desperate need to be updated..and they are doing a fabulous job...the new Restaurant is wonderful....44 days and counting...

Re: Aruba Beach Club Beach

ABC/CDM beach is nice but getting in the water at times is difficult. I am disappointed with thye huge boulders they placed in front of the ocean. I know, I know, they had to or the water would wash away the huts etc.
Its still sad that they are there and are necessary. No sense arguing with Momm Nature!

Jan, Feb were not so good there this yr. Huge monsterous waves limited you getting in for many days. Esp. weeks 1-2-3-4-5-6-and some of 7. I dont know about 8 etc. Many days everyone had to go up to the Divi to get in the ocean.
CDM has the same rights to the beach that ABC has. Its a shared expense beach. Its a shared everything unit.
Pass on the Calypso rest. at CDM. No more said. View great, food terrible. Better at Tortuga deck at ABC. way better. Try this: get to the beach when ever you feel like it and dont set your alarm or get up nasty early. There will be a hut somehwere you can use and people leave a lot in mid afternoon.
We never had a problem finding some hut, somewhere on ABC/CDM beach/.No matter what time we got there.
