Eat right there on the beach

>>>> "any places you recc to eat that are reasonable?"
---- The ABC has a beach restaurant that is very reasonable. Must eat half of our lunches there and we stay next store. The ABC is a timeshare so might be some other teens there or next store at CDM. Members and guests of CDM and ABC can use each others beach huts, pools, exercise room, tennis courts, activities, ......

Re: aruba beach club info

The studios only have a stove top (4 burners) and a microwave. The one-bedrooms have a regular kitchen stove (burners & oven) and a microwave. No dishwashers. There are a few scheduled activities like bingo and pool aerobics and music around the pool but nothing exciting, it's a pretty quiet resort. The on-site restaurant is pretty reasonable for lunch and dinner and next door at Casa del Mar a nice buffet breakfast is available for $8.00 per person. Manchebo next door on the other side does a nice breakfast & lunch as well at a reasonable cost. There's a Subway and a Dushi Bagel stand a few minutes walk from ABC and both have good sandwiches. There are many reasonably priced restaurants on the island, strike up conversations with folks at the pool and on the beach, most are owners or repeat visitors and love to exchange restaurant information. If you're going to have a rental car it's only a few minutes ride to 3 major grocery stores where you can stock up on beverages and snacks to save money. There is an on-site mini-market but everything costs more there than at the larger stores. Or for that matter you can catch the bus to the store (just ask at the front desk where to catch it, it's not far) and take a cab back. With 3 teens I'd definitely hit the grocery store especially for soda and chips and other snack stuff.

Re: aruba beach club info

We love the Aruba Beach Club...the teens will enjoy the beach...next door at Manchebo they have activities in the afternoon- and they can go over to the Divi and meet other teens too....Charlies Pizza- just across the street- 2 minute walk is a great new addition in Aruba...good service, food (not just pizza)...we've had teens with us on many an occassion and they have always kept real busy!!
