aruba to curacao with tiara- air

Anyone used tiara-air to go from aruba to curacao?
Does the plane have an toilet on board?
Is it claustrofobic small?
Thanks

curacao flight

I haven't flown to curacao yet. But I was wondering if anyone knows the approximate cost of this trip for a day. Round trip for two. Thanks

The web site has the destinations, timetable, and prices.
The bottom of the price page also shows what the airport taxes are
for the different destinations; so, remember to factor them in.
You can see an interior photo of the airframe used (Shorts 360)
by clicking on the "our fleet" link at the homepage's bottom.
Click on the thumbnail to get a good view of the inside.
Don't know about toilet but the Curacao flight looks to be under an hour.

If anyone goes and visits any of the many casinos there, I need some chips from Curacao. If you might be willing to pick me up a few ($1 or $2.50 only, so not too expensive), then please pm me.

Thanks.

The flight is 20 minutes! A few years ago we went to Curaco for two days. My personal opinion is that it is a lovely place to go as a stop on a cruise ship but I wouldn't give up a day in Aruba to go there. We paid about $200 p.p. with another airline. The beaches are not anywhere as nice as Aruba. The beach at the Sea Aquarium was the nicest one we were at (you have to pay to go there) and it is about a 20 minute drive from downtown. The downtown area is nice enough, rich with history. We had stopped there twice on a cruise before visiting and found a change in the downtown area. More stores were closed up (this may have changed back in the three years since we were there) but we didn't find any better deals or better shopping than in Aruba. The island, overall, is larger and poorer than Aruba. You can not walk around there at night as you can in Aruba. We ate at a lovely restaurant three blocks from our hotel. The owner of the restaurant drove us to the hotel as she wouldn't let us walk and taxi's would be mad to be called for such a short distance. Extremely nice of the owner but also says a lot of the island at dark

Would have to agree with Randi. Nice place for a visit as a port stop on a cruise, but $200 pp to fly there for the day? Uh, probably not worth it.

The beaches are nice IF you wanted to get in some better snorkeling or diving than what is found in Aruba. Dh and I have a fantastic shore dive which was rediculously cheap as well. For fine white powder sand, stick with Aruba though.

Talking Curacao

Thanks for all the info. on Curacao. I really appreciate it. It doesn't sound like it is worth it to waste a day on your vacation to go there. That time on vacation is precious. Thanks again.
