Hi everyone! I am new to this site and so happy that I fell upon it. I would love to get some advice/recommendations on some items. I am getting married in Aruba in December. We have about 60 guests flying down to join us. I have been to Aruba once for 2 weeks and absolutely loved it - reason for choosing my wedding to be there!
1) Has anyone stayed at the Aruba500 villa? My immediate family has booked this to stay - we are hoping that we made a good decision.
2) A handful of our guests are staying at the Aruba Marriott Resort and Stellaris Casino. I understand they are under renovation at this time. Has anyone been there recently and seen the progress?
-We are hosting the wedding reception on the North deck at this hotel, so I am crossing my fingers that the renovation of that deck gets done prior to the wedding

3) Does anyone know of any caterers in Aruba? We would like to host a party at the villa one or two of the days that we are there, but I am having trouble finding a caterer to come to our villa...
4) Has anyone worked with Indira, the wedding planner? We were planning to use her, but have had a lot of trouble with her in regards to communication. Desiree at the Marriott is fantastic.

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding

We have stayed at Aruba 500 the last three years and absolutely LOVE it. It ia beautifully furnished, the landscaping is awesome, and Anneke, the property manager is tremendous. There is plently of room inside and out to host a party of 100+ with room to spare.

We will never stay any place else

. I know ther are some photos on the web site but if you want to see more, I have some in the gallery on this site plus hundreds more that I could email to you.

I just thought of this, as I said, Anneke is great, email her and she may be able to help you with the catering situation.

Thank you so much for the response! I am really happy to hear the great comments about the Aruba 500. So it sounds like we will have no problem hosting a party for our guests at the house.
I would be really grateful if you would send your Aruba500 photos to me via email. My family is curious! My email is sheilanosbush@gmail.com.

Indira, the wedding planner cannot suggest a local caterer?
