Injustice? You beat up a Police Officer, flee only to charge at him once again and die for it, is not called injustice. Lets reserve judgment until all the "FACTS" are truly known, not just what MSNBC and the race baiters are putting out there. I do however, wish America was as safe as Aruba. I have never felt uncomfortable walking around at night there which is more than I can say for several cities I have been to in the US.

Examples? You sound like you speak from experience Ricky59. Not trying to stir the pot, or be a PITA, but no one else speaks like you. I can only assume you know different. 😄

    Hi everybody,

Aruba is safer. The crime rate is lower because there is enough work for most. The income per capita is one of the highest in this region.

Aruba's main income is tourism. So thank you for visiting our beautiful island You guys also are part responsible for the way Aruba is today. We want to live today and make our visitors feel at home. It's like tourism has infused in our culture.

    Thank you!

Sadly, racism can be found everywhere also poverty but somethings we choose not to see.

    Kind regards,

    Jeremy

If you look under a microscope and try really hard to find a discrimination problem you'll always succeed. If anyone is perfectly honest when they look in the mirror they'll see imperfection and, yes, someone who has also discriminated in some way at some time.

in addition, everyone has been discriminated against at some time or another, yes, even this white male.

Using Joran as an example of Aruba on the whole, pleeeeeze spare me.

Aruba? Perfect, no, but as good as it gets. I'll reiterate that I'll highly recommend it to everyone regardless of how they look or who they hug.

heck rob ..........i discriminate against him every change i get. (just kidding rob o )

seriously though, i see so much melding in aruba of color/race i find it very eye opening and quite enlightening.

    that is truly my opinion.

ricky is a more frequent aruba traveler than i and has a very differing opinion.

....and this forum is all about opinions and being able to freely write those opinions.

Please spare you, from what? why the aggressive post?
Hoooold on, I simply stated my opinion on the island.

the comment about joran, that's a fact!
actually my kids are very good friends with his brother. I don't need to use anyone!

as for recommending the island, this june, 45 family members, next year 70, I think that part has been covered?

as you can see by my post i am using my humor (such as it is) to lighten the conversation.

i remind all to use appropriate smilies....winks, duhs, smiles, etc to add to their expressions.
