    Setar questions...

Anyone out there used Setar recently?

We need a phone, decided to buy.

    Questions...
    How much is the phone?

    Where are they located?

Are called back to U.S. charged against us and not to the person receiving?

How much is the SIM card?

Is the # given to us our permanent #?

Thanks, just tying to get our hands around this project.
We decided just to buy as we travel there so frequently and will do so for many years to come.
    Appreciate imput...
And thanks to Andrea, she has already given us lots of info !!!

BUY @ the Setar kiosk at airport or downtown or at palm beach around the corner from hardrock.
the phone itself is between $60 and $80
the person receiving the calls from the setar phone are NOT charged.
(if you are calling their cell phone, they are charged their usual minutes per their att, verizon or sprint contracts)

if someone calls u from the usa you are NOT charged any of your minutes.
    so incoming calls are free

the phone cards can be bought in different denominations......ranging from $5 to about $25. $25 gives you over 3 hours of talk time (making calls)

the number given to you is permanent.........but is not guaranteed to be permanent ex: our phone became obsolete and we had to trade in the phone, no charge, and we got a new number. the number that we had with the original phone was good for 6 yrs.

also too SETAR is not your only option.
DIGICEL has good plans and similarly priced phones too

LOL, I saw something on the mobile section of the setar site about international roaming for certain countries, but could not find a link past there to determine which countries. Top secret?

    Aruba Fast Fones

Is this company good? I went on their website a week ago, filled in the info and have heard nothing from them. I'm a little worried since we will be going there very quickly. I wrote them twice since then and nothing. Do you know if they are in business?
