    In Aruba I resolve to
1.Make the most of my time on the island.
2.Step out of my comfort zone and do the things that scare me.
3.Meet and get to know more people on every visit, both visitors and locals.
4.Appreciate my being on the island.
5.Try to make each moment of each day last as long as possible.
6.Try to meet up with members of the Aruba Forum at a meet and greet or arrange to meet for lunch or dinner should we happen to be on the island at the same time.
7.Create a video log of my visit to Aruba.
8.Take one family member or friend with me on future trips.
9.Take the bus into the city.
10.Visit more places on the inside of the island.

Since 1980, and throughout the many changes, we still love going downtown in Oranjestad.

    Great idea for a thread!

    Here's mine:

I resolve to start my relaxation by the time I get to the round-about heading out of the airport.
I resolve to try, at minimum, 3 new restaurants in a 7 day stay.
I resolve to try to stop myself from signing The Trolley Song whenever I see the trolley. Really annoyed my wife the last time and I never got past the "Clang, clang ,clang" part.
I resolve not go nuts again if I see El Gaucho's sidewalk sign offering fish specials. An important note here. If they offer vegetarian dishes, sorry, I will go nuts if I see that. Some things are just not right. Vegetarian dishes at El Gaucho are at the top of my no-no list.
