Re: Aruba in May

We were on the island in November also and in over twenty years we have never seen anything like that. We return to the island in May and have never had a problem with rain but who knows what will happen this year since the weather has been crazy since Hurricane Ivan paid Aruba a visit. Hopefully all will be normal and we will all come back tan.

Re: Aruba in May

Susan we are also going the second week in May for the first time. I checked the Weather Channel Website to get an idea of what to expect and it said that the temps should be in the mid to high eighties, with no rain. If you want to check the site I think the section was called "Travel Weather". It gave a grid for the whole year. I hope this helps.

Re: Aruba in May

I've been to Aruba 14 times already during may. I've never had one bad day of weather except for last year when it rained for about an hour. Besides that the weather has been awesome. Have fun!

Re: Aruba in May

There really was never a bad day in Aruba. Ivan changed that this year and I hope that's over now. Went last April for Easter and the sun was out 24/7. Went again in Ocober and it was the same. Hope we never see the likes of Ivan again.

Re: Aruba in May

Have been to Aruba the last 2 years in May and only experienced scattered showers 1 or 2 days from 15 to 30 minutes each. Very refreshing! Never left the beach.

Re: Aruba in May

I've been in both May and Nov. I preferred May. I agree with the others, if there's any rain in May it lasts a half hour at the most. Nov seemed a lot more cloudy then May. Going in May is a great way to start the summer!
