Aruba in November???

This will be our first time in Aruba and we don't know much about it.
Our family is planning to go to Aruba for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
Is November a good time for Aruba?
Is the Weather good at that time as well?
Anyone has a suggestion for a hotel in a good beach location and clean hotel for a family of five?
We would appreciate your suggestions.
Thank you !!!!!

Re: Aruba in November???

We went to Aruba during Thanksgiving vacation 2 years ago and it was swarming with people. Lots of familys and lots of young children which we were surprised because of the strong sun and lack of things to do for kids that young. We stayed at the Hyatt as we always do and always enjoy a good time and friendly service. We were there this past November before the holiday and we encountered alot of rain. Remember, November through January is their rainy season not that that means you will constantly have rain but the chances are greater. Just bring sun sunscreen and use it!

Re: Aruba in November???

For a family of five you would be better off renting a two bedroom timeshare. We have been spending November on the island for twenty years and only had one problem in 1999 when Hurricane Lenny passed close to the island. Two bad days but it didn't effect our trip in any way - we went to town shopping, to a movie and bowling. Then it was back to normal and other than beach erosion in some areas everything was fine. Check out timeshares on the beach to see if any owners are renting their units for the time you need. Good luck.
