Aruba this summer?

What are YOUR plans this Summer?
Why is an Aruba vacation on your calendar? We have other options don't we?Why Aruba?
We choose Aruba due to the weather, the beaches, the whole experience. In these trying economic times, why still Aruba when we could head to the Maine coast or Cape Cod for a few weeks......but we choose Aruba!!

I chose Aruba this summer because of Great weather, Great snorkling, Great food, Great people, Great beaches and clear blue water and its my 23rd trip back so its like going back home. Will be there for 6 weeks. June 22 thru Aug 3rd. Kent PS. Did I mention you don't have to hear the phone ring when you are in Aruba?

Cool

>>> "Why Aruba?"
----- In the summer?
Why: Yes many years ago when a teen and first married the ocean was the place to go.
Reasons Aruba is better:
1. Rather spend 5 hours on a AC jet in both directions than 5 hours in traffic getting to the beach and another 6 hours back in traffic jams.
2. That nice breeze in Aruba is far better than the hot humid weather we get in July and August in Maryland.
3. Plenty of space on the beach in the low rise area than the beaches back home.
4. No undertow or large waves like back home.
5. Can have great Catch of the Day every evening if you want.
6. Usually no rain or very little to harm your R&R on the beach.
7. Can have a nice cold Amstel Bright Beer on the beach.
8.

agree with tom here in baltimore the weather is too humid. Besides that for my wife and i CAN'T to go ocean city md it would costs us more than a trip to aruba. Can get to aruba in 4 1/2 hours and in traffic to the beach here in june or july it could take that long. So aruba it is for us. 19th time i think in 4 days woooo hoooo. See everyone at the tamarijn the 25th

Hey Lisa
Glad to see you guys are returning to Aruba this year after all - I know you were not sure when you could go again!! What made you decide to go back to the Radisson? ( If you don't mind me asking -)

Aruba just feels like home.....it is just that simple !!!!!
Could go to Hawaii, anywhere else in the Caribbean, but it just doesn't feel like Aruba does.....

Yes, dh & I are VERY happy.

Dd does not know that she is going. We are waiting until AT LEAST Friday when school is out for the summer. She needs to be able to focus on final exams.

We have always loved the Radisson. Dh is still more partial to Palm beach than anywhere else. The package offered through
MCM / Players Choice Tours for the Radisson was perfect for our budget. AND dd will be getting her scuba certification with Aruba Watersports. It is right next door to the Radisson so very very convenient.

Long lazy days on the beach, Amstel Brights, Mme J's... the people, the fantastic restaurants.... the Radisson! It's all too perfect to not want to be there each summer!
