Aruba welcomed 63,738 visitors in September 2011 and 69,718 in September 2012. This was determined by the growth of tourism from Aruba’s three main markets: North America, Latin America and Europe.

In Year To Date statistics, Aruba was visited by 677,095 in the period of January through September 2012, which indicates a Year To Date growth of 3% compared to the same period last year.

The Average Daily Rate (ADR) charged by AHATA members was slightly lower this year in September, at $150.58 compared to last year’s ADR, which was 151.05. Nevertheless, the REVPAR, which is the revenue per room, increased with 8.3%, as occupation was up 6.1% and stands at 76.7% compared to last year September, when the occupancy was 70.6%. The REVPAR was also up from $106.66 to $115.52.
