weather
Hi everyone
I will be coming to aruba for my honeymoon! What is the weaher like in October? My travel agent highly recommened Aruba at that time of year, but everything I'v read on the internet suggests alot of rain?? I'm starting to think I made the wrong choice!  Missi

Average high temperature 90 F. Average low temperature 80 F. Average temperature 83 F. Average water temperature 83 F. Average windspeed 13 mph Average maximum wind speed 28 mph Average rainfall 2.60 inches (20.3 inches annual) Rain in Aruba falls mainly over night and early in the morning. That is not to say you will not have a passing shower during the day however they are usually brief and generally last 10-20 minutes. We hardly ever leave the beach during a shower taking cover under a beach palapa or going into the ocean. Welcome to the forum.

if you read the first post you will see that the average rainfall in october is 2.6".
this past october (2010) is one that was NOT normal, neither was November, or December. Do not worry about the October weather. Where else would you consider going in the Caribbean where the weather could be better? Lots of the other Caribbean islands are in the hurricane belt. Andrea, just a sidebar comment......it is 1 degree F here this am....you posting temps for aruba did not make me feel good at all, even with rain.....need a heater, blankets, boots, scarves, gloves, coats, sweaters, more sweaters, pants, more pants.....etc.....

Just got back from Eagle Beach and it was a fantastic day! What a difference in temperature - I left New Jersey at 4deg and arrived in Aruba at 87deg...
The sun was shining brightly today with only hints of clouds and the breeze has returned. Anyone for a Balashi? Regards, |
