I have been here since Tuesday and the weather has been GORGEOUS!!! There was about 2 minutes of rain yesterday aft and some during the night but that didn't ruin anything! I am sitting by the pool right now waiting for another glorious day to begin!!

Rainfall Outlook for the First Quarter of 2011
Sea Surface Temperatures (SST) in the tropical Pacific Ocean are expected to remain below average values (La Niña conditions) through the first half of 2011. In the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, the sea surface temperatures are still above average levels and the outlook is for these higher than normal temperatures to persist throughout the first three months of 2011. These two phenomena are expected to influence the atmosphere in such manner that it will lead to average or slightly above average rainfall for both the ABC and the SSS islands during the first quarter of 2011.

Has it really been raining there much lately? The weather forecast has been showing a 30-40% chance of rain almost everyday for about a month. I really hope it's not true!

There have been passing rain showers.

Rain in Aruba falls mainly over night and early in the morning. That is not to say you will not have a passing shower during the day however they are usually brief and generally last 10-20 minutes. We hardly ever leave the beach during a shower taking cover under a beach palapa or going into the ocean.

We were there 1/22-2/6/11 and rain was an issue one day when it rained until early afternoon. Other than that, a 20-second shower once in a while that wasn't worth moving for.

been here since 1/24 and rain has not ben an issue. Like Andy M said maybe part of one day.

Here on the island. Been here since Monday. It has rained just about every night. (Over night) Yesterday morning we had brief heavy showers for about 3-5mins. But it dried up VERY fast. As mentioned if it do rain. It is mostly overnight and it dry's in the morning sun and heat.
