Wow! I live here and was not even aware of the waterspouts! We have had some rain near the airport, but nothing serious thank goodness. It is very humid and no breeze, but used to that in October.
Hey Sugar, I read that the wind decreases in Sept and Oct, (as you know). Getting excited for my trip. Last year in early November I dont recall any wind on the beach, not much anyway.
WOW - just looking at the live webcam at the Bucuti. The palm trees are barely moving. Never seen that. Must be mighty hot. I wasn't happy with the amount of wind we had last March, but I'm sure I'd be less happy with no wind! Hope that front moves away soon. But heck, I'd take Aruba anyway I could get it!!! There's always that beautiful ocean to cool off - and maybe a cocktail or two!
there is a weather system that has stalled north of aruba that the NHC has been monitoring now for days. this disorganized system is sucking the trade winds from aruba making it unmercifully hot and humid.
it too will pass
enjoy and safe travels
we'll be leaving for aruba next week
those rain bands and bizarre weather have now moved north/northwest and developed into "sandy"
oh joy ....not.
QUOTE=arubaislove;235718]I hope it will be okay. My BF hasn't been there and I'll I've been talking about is the fantastic weather. I'm optimistic though![/QUOTE]
Someone told that there was sever weather last week, is that true?
