More wind, but still able to sit on the beach with no problem. Just had to hold onto your drink at the bar!!

    Imagine yourself in Aruba today!

Queen Beatrix Airport, Aruba Apr 28, 2011 - 10:00 AM EDT
Wind: from the E at 16 MPH
    Visibility: greater than 7 mile(s):0
    Sky conditions: partly cloudy
    Temperature: 87 F
    Heat index: 97.5 F
    Relative Humidity: 70%

    Saturday
    Partly Cloudy

Weather forecast for the ABC islands valid until Friday midday 12:00, April 29, 2011.
    Issued: Thursday, April 28, 2011, 15:00 UTC

    Weather:
Today through Friday midday: Generally partly cloudy with a chance of an isolated shower.

    DEFINITION
    - Isolated showers- showers covering 10-25% of the area.

It is EXTREMELY common in Aruba to be standing on the beach and see a rain shower passing either to the north or south of you. These are just that, a passing cloud with some rain it. Ten minutes and it is gone, the sun comes out and everything is good again. Rarely do these showers ever even force us from the beach. We sit under our palapa and giggle at everyone in the water start running for cover. LOL they were wet already anyway.

Do not give the weather a second thought...GO and ENJOY!

    Skies right this second...

For those in a panic about the weather, I just literally got off the phone with someone in Oranjestad, and the weather hasn't changed since the Lady and I were there in April... simply fantastic. And apparently, according to the locals and their personal forecasts, it's only going to get better with major heat in July through to the end of October, then it's back to the April weather.

Can anyone verify what the weather is usually like mid to end-November? I know last year was exceptionally wet, and that's not the norm. Anyone been there that time of year?

Methinks it's time for us to start looking at/for a way to journey to paradise semi-annually.

November is going to be hotter and FEEL hotter with higher temperatures and less wind. Rain will be three times as much as April, but again it falls mainly in the form of showers early morning and overnight.

If you want a bit cooler, try December, right before Christmas is still affordable

Strange weather for sure. Winds today 3 mph. The ocean is like glass. Blue skies, dreary skies, take your pick
