Weather has been typical for this time of the year. Early morning and overnight showers as well as 5 minute downpours throughout the morning until early afternoon. Once this week there was one late afternoon downpour. The wind on the other hand is abnormally fierce. We are used to the 30 mph June winds with gale force gusts, but have never in 5 Christmas trips seen winds like June's in December.

hope that you are hanging onto your hats.
with the winds, i suppose it is either feast (windy) or famine (still)
    sandblasting at the beach?

Sand blasting here on Eagle Beach has not been a factor though dh did lose his hat yesterday and had to swim after it.

Thanks, Andrea. The forecast is calling for sixteen inches of snow in Toronto before we go so I may be redoing my black-magic-deals -with-God trip report from the tarmac again.
