Power and water was turned off today. I just called The Aruban. Guests have been told to leave their units. The Aruban is trying to find their guests hotel rooms.

this is terrible. I am scheduled to arrive at The Aruban on December 25th. Do you know what they are doing with people that are scheduled to arrive?

What awful news! I hope they do contact the future guests right away as to their intentions. Best of luck to you BGlynn0211- hope they get everything resolved quickly for everyones sake.

What happens to all the the people going for Christmas week and New Years?Does this mean anyone that owns a timeshare doesn't have access to it?I am so glad I didn't buy timeshare there.What a shame,great location,great beach.Hope someone takes it over that can manage it properly.You know there was a problem when they didn't finish there casino.

Why did I drink the cool aid? We held off for so long and bought last year. Never got to stay in our own room

Yeah I know how you feel....I bought 8 months ago and paid the maintenance fee and assessment fees and never got to stay in my own room!

Well folks I own a few weeks of a 3 bedroom condo as well as a 2 bedroom at the Aruban, but, this year decided I would use some of my bonus weeks. So I paid for 3 + weeks, for a 2 bedroom. "Bonus weeks" mean you only pay the maintenance fee per week..... That was a few Thousand, plus.............. So I have airlines tickets and no place to go for 22 nights.... It is a sin as the beach/area is awesome and it could have been such a grand place once again..... I look back and remember how it was when first built and the Casino was the place to be...WOW..... How time changes things...

My heart goes out to all that are in the same position I am and lets hope that there is some type of resolution. Marl
