Aruban Newpapers

Hi everyone...
You would think I would know these answers but I don't.

Is Aruba Today still around?

What are the other newpapers there?

I am looking to get in touch with one of them...any ideas..I don't care which one.

Trying to look at Aruba Today on line and I am not sure if it is still around.
Thanks in advance !!!!

CIndyo

http://www.arubatoday.com/ Very much still around. Their website last updated on Friday. I would imagine with Grand Carnival on Sunday they have been extremely busy.

She is correct. There is a third paper in Aruba but it was not delivered to the AM. I saw it at the Texaco station.

Don't know the names of the editors of the papers, but there exists:

Aruba Today

Aruba Daily

And The Aruba News (different that the other News that folded last year).

However, my favorite Aruba paper is DIARIO. Best car crash photos, etc, lots of local commentary on all subjects, best political cartoons (by far beats the ones in the US/UK).

Hi Cindy,

You can get some info from the links provided on this thread.

There is no editor mentioned for Aruba Today but you can send them an email directly through their website:

http://www.arubatoday.com/index.php?...ntact&Itemid=3

The editors for The Morning News Aruba are:

Rosalinda Maduro
Chandette Richardson

email address: themorningnewsaruba@gmail.com

More info is on their website, page 2.

Hope that helps and good Luck with whatever you are up to!

Thanks CK1, San Nic and Lisa...My niece is celebrating her 16th on the island in a few weeks. I am trying to surprize her and get her bday in one of the newspapers. She is staying at the Renn suites 3/18-24th. She would go wild if I could set this up for her and not have to know it. We unfortunately won't be with her.

I am going to see if I can contact Julia.

Thanks to everyone !!!!!! cindyo
