ATM machines

Can anyone confirm that the ATMs on the island accept visa, delta, link or cirrus cards?

Thanks a bundle!

Re: ATM machines

JIM,
I'M NOT SURE WHAT CARDS THEY DO ACCEPT, HOWEVER, I WAS TOLD IT COSTS A LARGE SERVICE FEE JUST TO USE THE MACHINE. BRING CASH FROM HOME!

Re: ATM machines

Just got back yesterday. The ATM in our hotel did not accept VISA for some reason. We had to go to another ATM to use it.

Re: ATM machines

Not true, most atm machines don't even charge a fee, as long as you don't use one in a casino. Using ATM's in Hotel lobbies and banks are fine and they are all over the place. Do not use one in a casino or you will pay an outrageous fee.

Re: ATM machines

Yes, you can use your Visa as long as you have a pin #.

And no the fee was only like $2 per transaction. You might have additional fees on your end though!

Re: ATM machines

I used the ATM in the Holiday Inn twice and I'm from Canada and had no problem. I don't think there was a service fee, but if there was it was small. The conversion rate from Canadian $ to US didn't seem too bad either.

Re: ATM machines

You can even get your money in Florins or Dollars. No fees at Texaco or Valero gas stations!

Re: ATM machines

We always go to a machine at a bank and have never ever paid a fee of any kind. Stay away from the machines in the casinos because they charge a hefty fee. We have used our Visa, MasterCard and Amex and never had a problem.

Re: ATM machines

Used a bank of america (cirrus?) in a casino, think it was a 2.50 charge. Not too bad
