Baby beach and Charlie's?

My husband and I are going to Aruba in 6 days. This is our 5th trip in 5 years.....just love it! We were going to take a day to go to Baby beach and to visit Charlie's bar. We haven't done either before.
Is the beach better (worth the trip) than Eagle or Palm? Also, is Charlie's a fun place to go?
Thanks!

Connie

To us Baby Beach is worth a short visit.
We liked Rogers Beach better. A lot less crowded. Also there is a nice bar/restaraunt there. But they are closed Monday's.

If you are in San Nicolas drop into Charlie's Bar. Food is a bit pricey.

We too like EBB, prefer Roger's Beach. On a weekday off season, you could very likely be the only people there. Waters are most always calm due to the offshore reef breaking the waves. In the photo below you can see the restaurant on the left mid photo. More photos.

It is located just before Baby Beach. See my attachment. The photo attachement is centered on BB with RB labeled.

Baby/Rogers beach

Thank you for the great information. We wanted to go there because we heard the snorkeling was great, especially for us with limited experience. Is there a better place on the island to go for that? We went on a boat that took us out a bit but the waves were so strong that snorkeling was difficult.
Thanks again!

For snorkeling from shore, check out this great thread.
Best Areas for Snorkeling?

Right now you have to look at the wikimapia links in Firefox (they did an upgrade and IE is not working.)

I don't know if I'd rank it as better, but it's different. We usually go there once during our visits. Because it's sheltered it's better for younger children.

We always go to Charlie's for lunch at least once as well.
It's not cheap, but the food is exellent.

Not since Aruba. I haven't done a local dive in several years, but this year I plan to. I just hope the dry suit hasn't shrunk over time.

LOL...I have some clothes that have "shrunk" () over time as well...I think it happens to all of us!

Here's a picture of Baby Beach from this past Easter. Was much more crowded than usual due to the holiday.
