    Balashi

    What would you compare Balashi to thats in the states.

    It's kind of hard for me to think of a comparison. Guess I would say it's medium body more like a Miller than a Bud. You might also like the Amstel Brights. Very popular here in Aruba

    its been 5 yrs since we've been and now my brother in law and his wife are coming along. he asked what balashi tastes like so i told him i'd ask the community of awesome responders.

    Heineken. IMO it tastes the same. Balashi Chill is my favorite!

    I don't think there is an equal here in the States. I agree that it has a taste similar to Heineken (or a couple of other European beers), but I swear the water makes it just a little bit better.

    I had one super chilled and it tasted like a Heineken to me but less bitter than a Heineken. It has to be super chilled for me. Otherwise my taste buds would not care for it not even Heineken. The best are the little nips. You can chill those and drink them fast. Ahhh they go down so smoothly when they are chilled.

    I like Amstel Brights. You can't get those in the States!
