    Balashi Chill Party

What a blast 2 dollar beers all night two great bands and reasonably priced food. Not to mentio free givaways of t shirts and flip flops. Seems like everyone had a great time. The new chill beer is obviously a winnerl

Following up on Cosmo's review of the Chill Launch Party, it was a great time. Lots of good music, dancing in the sand, and happy people. Check out the photos:

It was fun meeting other people from the board there and sharing the merriment.

    Bon dia.

Gosh, how did I miss this thread! Oh ya, I had a baby!
Well, I can't wait to try the beer next year. My mom asked a couple of years ago at Boca Prins, "Do you have Balashi lite??" oh dear lord!

They do have Balashi Light on tap at the beer garden at the brewery. Just had one this week. Tasted very light though - Balashi Chill has more flavor.

We just got back from our first trip to Aruba....I'm so sad, LOL!! We got some Balashi Chill at the bar at Baby Beach (Big Mama Grill), yumm!! I also tried Amstel Bright, which I really REALLY like. I've never seen either before, not sure it's sold in Maryland but I'm definitely going to look.

Kris - You cannot get Brites in the US. I think it is only available in the Dutch Caribbean (Curacao, St. Maarten, Aruba, etc.) and the Netherlands.

I bring back 6 or 12 every time we go.

I am looking forward to trying Chill - that wasn't available the last time we were the in January.

Ugh bummer! I really liked it :/

Bringing back 6 or 12 would be a complete tease for me, lol

Chill reminded me of something, I can't put my finger on it but it's definitely familiar...it's pretty good, I think. When are you going back?

Thanks Amy! I'll let my mom know, she'll be very happy to hear that. She's not a huge beer drinker so I am sure she'll like how light it is.
