Banking while in aruba.....

Hi, I am leaving on Friday for my 4th trip!!!!!!!!!! My question is, I may need to get money from my bank accounts while I am in Aruba. Where can I do this? Are there charges? And I will definately be letting the bank know tomorrow that I may be doing this.

THANKS!!

If you are talking about ATM machines, there are plenty.
the money can be dispensed in US dollars or in Aruban Florins.
i do not remember the fees being outrageous or anything different than here in the USA.
we have used the atm at lacabana lobby, at lings grocery store, at the bank itself near the ATA main office and at the gas station near the rotary/gas station near the Aruban resort.

be forewarned, the atm/cash advance machines in the casinos have high fees.

no sweat it was Liz-aruba lover that reminded me that the AM machines in the casinos charge usual and the cash advance machines are costly

Thumbs up

----- Ditto. And look the machines over so you don't use the wrong one.
My bank ATM card is also a Visa Card so would work in either. One year long ago did get some $$$ out of a ATM at a casino and there is a small fee.

Make sure you tell your bank that your coming here, they will freeze up your account if you use it without them knowing.
