    Beer in Aruba

Hey everyone! I was wondering what types of beer Aruba has? My fiance and I are staying at the Occidental Grand Aruba. Do they have Budweiser in Aruba? My fiance is very picky about his beer and I just wanted to see what different types were offered....lol

    What about Bud Light?

    my $.02.
(yes bud and bud light is widely sold on island)
your fiance should give the aruban beer BALASHI a try.
i am not a beer drinker. (the same 12 pack of bud light has been in our refrigerator for 3 yrs)
but most everyone loves the local aruban beer.
aruba amy has a particular beer BRIGHT that she likes and i think it is a local aruban brew too or it may be an amstel product.

    mmmmm...beer!

mmmm.....Beer...! Amstel Bright is fantastic! I believe it's brewed in Venezuela. Polar (Venezuela?) is another good one. Balashi is great. You can expect to see most of the beers you see in the good ole USA.... and served by much nicer people too! cp

Amstel Brights - YUM! Amstel Brights used to brewed in Curacao but it's now brewed in Amsterdam and shipped to the islands. Polar (brewed in Venezuela) is another one of our favorites in Aruba.

do any of you think that the aruba beer (BALASHI) tastes real good because the water that is used is delicious?

in aruba, i drink tons of iced tea (lipton in the jar) it tastes way better there than here in the USA. i swear it has to be the water.
husband is a coca cola freak. he says the aruba coke is better than the massachusetts coke.

    comments?

    I've often wondered that myself.

But I'm not a big Balashi beer drinker....unless it's on tap! Love the taste of it on tap but not real fond of its flavor in bottles or cans.

I will say this about the Aruba water though.....my hair and skin feels so nice and soft in Aruba! It never ceases to amaze me how wonderful it feels!

Thank you all soooo much! We are definitely touring the brewery b/c my fiance loves stuff like that. We will definitely try all of the local beer, but just wanted to be sure they offered the U.S.A. beer as well. All of you have been such a big help! Thanks!!!!
