I am wondering where the best place to do currency exchange in Aruba is? I've found that airport exchanges are not the best. I know that practically everyone will accept US dollars, but I prefer to use local currency. I leave in 2 days and will be staying for 2 weeks. I can't wait!

any of the banks will do the currency exchange ~ there are a number of banks on the main rd from the airport to the hotel area.

as will the casinos will swap out money
but the casinos prefer to accept and not give back

Aruba Bank is our only experience with exchanges. They charge a fee, so the exchange rate is not very good. Don't know about other banks.

Ling & Sons does exchange at 1.77, if they have the cash available. I usually try to exchange there.
